No refunds - payments are deemed earned when made. Rescheduling requires 24 hours notice by email to info@mertzel-law.com with the words "Reschedule Consultation" in the subject. Your consultation will be confidential but no attorney-client relationship is intended to be established. After the consultation there is no obligation to engage the Firm and we are not obligated to provide services to you. If you and we agree to work together after the consultation, we will prepare an engagement letter with the terms of the engagement, including fees and the amount of your retainer. It may not be possible to answer all your questions during the limited time for your consultation and our analysis and advice will be preliminary in nature and subject to potential revision. If we agree to provide a credit in the event you engage the firm, the credit will be deducted from your retainer or applied to your first invoice.
